In lymphedema treatment, there is a need for a space where creative and passionate clinicians can speak openly on issues and controversies within the field.
There is too much group-think and too much deference toward individuals or organizations due to their titles or reputations.
It will benefit the field as a whole if we can respectfully, yet candidly, and without reservations, confront questions that are otherwise kept discreet.
Openness and transparency, hashing out differences in a forum of ideas can only result in betterment not only for clinicians but for persons struggling each day with lymphedema.
With that in mind, this space is offered as a catalyst for constructive conversation, to allow for opinion and opposing views, to generate the grist necessary for progress.
